Characters

Tristan is Tori's boyfriend (actually, fiance) and the owner of the house (and, subsequently, the basement). He's a 24-year-old airfreight worker who has the memory of a goldfish. Tori loves him for his rampant fanboyism, dashing good looks, and ability to read at an achievement level higher than that of a fifth grader. Tristan is a beer snob the way some people are wine conneisseurs... and he's proud of it.
Tori is Tristan's girlfriend/fiancee. An art education major at the local college, Tori knows that she will be wasting away in the education system for the rest of her days and is horribly emo about it. Semi-unemployed, she spends most of her free time drawing comics and illustrations in hope of one day making a living as a freelancer.
Oli is Tristan's best and only Romanian friend. A 21-year-old aspiring alcoholic, Oli goes to the bookstore and buys things out of the "literature" section... but only when nothing on the history shelves catches his eye. He is most famous for a certain trip to Perkins which will not be mentioned on the internet. Also, he swears he never said "boop in the woo" while intoxicated... this is a lie.
Steve is a co-worker and friend of Tristan's. He is relentlessly made fun of (by everyone) for his utter lack of ability to woo women. Despite this apparent shortcoming, Steve is a fun guy to be around, even if he tells the worst stories on Earth. Steve gets upset when the comic doesn't adhere directly to real-life events, but if he's really that upset about it, he can write the damn thing. (I heart you, Steve!!! :) - Tori)
Terri is a 20-year-old sport management major at the local college. She is Tori's sorority "big" (depsite being younger than Tori) and an aspiring writer. Easily exciteable, Terri loves ice cream, shiny objects, and horror movies. Tristan refers to her as "the Mexican" due to her ethnic heritage, and in turn Terri refers to him as her "Pervy Uncle Tristan".
Nate has been Tristan's right-hand man since high school. Mischief incarnate, Nate enjoys flammable compounds, rocketry, the cover of darkness, things that make loud noises, anything climbable, etc. etc. He is a beer snob like Tristan, only with considerably more funding.
Kara is Nate's girlfriend/wrangler, keeping him in line when necessary. She is the only one of Tristan's friend's girlfriends to become an actual friend independently of her relationship with Nate.
Geoff is a friend of Oli and Steve. He lives with a guy named Tom.
Lorraine and Tori have been best friends as far back as either of them can remember. She moved into the house next door to Tori's at the age of three, and the two have been inseperable ever since. Lorraine is Tori's calmer, more rational side (except when excited, angry, stressed, or under the influence of Starbucks, which is most of the time).
Dawn is Tori's sorority little, despite carrying on family tradition and being older than Tori. A junior accounting major at the local college, she is more heavily involved in Pi Nu than her big and grandbig (Terri). Although she is somewhat of an overachiever, she also likes to geek out occasionally and party with her Pi Nu family, even though she can't hold her liquor.
Lauren is Tori's best friend from high school. The two of them were the ruin of St. Joseph Academy back in the day and their always-just-inside-the-rules-so-as-not-to-get-caught hijinks are still replicated by current students, though impossible to duplicate. Tori was Lauren's bad influence, although it appears that Lauren may be catching up in college life.
Jen Z is the adopted cousin of the Terri/Tori/Dawn Pi Nu family. Despite not knowing any other Jen, her last initial became permenantly grafted onto her name, pronounced "Jenzee". A little bit shy and awkward, she comes off as completely adorable in social situations and is impossible not to like. Once she comes out of her shell, though, she's hyper and involved in whatever she does.
